Welcome to the Lower school

The Lower School at San Marcos Academy offers an academically-advanced, Christ-centered education for day students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Our passionate, invested teachers provide high-quality instruction that not only imparts knowledge, but also builds character and instills personal moral values. In the Lower School, parents can expect their child to develop to his or her full potential while becoming well prepared for future learning in the secondary grades.

The oldest private school in Hays County, San Marcos Academy is located on a 200-acre gated campus with first-class facilities. Drawing families from San Marcos as well as several other surrounding communities, the Academy is poised to serve the ever-growing population along the I-35 corridor as the private school of choice in the southwest region of Texas and beyond. We encourage you to make an appointment and visit us so you can see for yourself what we have to offer your child at the San Marcos Academy Lower School.
