Academy Nights

Please join Christy, Dr. Brian Guenther, and the San Marcos Academy community for the 2nd annual Academy Nights Gala on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 5:30 pm at the Embassy Suites Hotel.
This annual fundraiser is not only a special event for ALL SMA parents (PreK-Upper School), administration, faculty, grandparents, alumni, and staff/faculty to come together, but also an opportunity for the greater Central Texas community to witness how God is on the move at SMA. In addition to great food and fellowship, guests will enjoy live and silent auctions and dance the evening away to "The Tones".
With more than 300 guests in attendance, last year's Academy Nights raised over $217,000 to benefit San Marcos Academy, including over $30k for the Militar Science program. While last year's event was a great success, we know that with your help, this year's gala will raise even more support for SMA.

How Can You Help?

Sponsorship Support
Your support of Academy Nights will help us continue a legacy of excellence by impacting program improvements and bolstering curriculum and facilities. The dollars raised at this event will:
  • Benefit our students’ education experience
  • Fund current academic initiatives
  • Support budgets for Academy programs
  • Ensure facilities are kept in excellent condition
  • Strengthen the financial aid fund

On this website, you will find several ways to sponsor Academy Nights and support SMA. We pray that by donating to and attending the gala you will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us, your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God (2 Corinthians 9:11).

Silent Auction
In addition to sponsoring our event with a monetary donation, we have opportunities to showcase your business by providing an item for our silent and live auctions. All donations of goods or services can be utilized through our auctions to raise additional dollars for SMA.

If you would like to sponsor or donate to our auction, please email Dr. Kayla Abshire at [email protected] to receive a donation form.

  • Hays County is one of the fastest-growing regions in the state of TX,and this is a great opportunity to feature community businesses.
  • Many businesses support organizations that support those with the most needs and SMA provides financial assistance totaling over $500,000 to current students- making quality education accessible to all.
  • The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), enacted in 1977, requires the Federal Reserve and other federal banking regulators to encourage financial institutions to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which they do business, including low- and moderate-income (LMI) neighborhoods.

San Marcos Academy is a 501c3 organization and donations made to the Academy Nights gala, whether monetary or in-kind, are tax-deductible.
