At San Marcos Academy, we believe that any qualified student should be able to attain Excellence in Christian Education through attendance at SMA. We will see to it that a family's desire to realize this possibility is not limited by their ability to pay full tuition. Our financial aid program assists capable and deserving students by helping them fill the gap between the actual cost of tuition and what the family can realistically afford to pay.

Tuition and Fees

Costs associated with attending San Marcos Academy differ depending on a student's grade level and Day or Boarding status. The cost of attending SMA and what services are included in the cost are listed on our financial Information documents, which can be found by clicking on the links to the right. The cost of school supplies and uniforms are not included in the tuition and required fees. 
Discounts, Tuition Credits or Grants

  • Q. Enrolled For More

    Tuition discount up to 50%. Inquire through our Inquire Here button or call 512-753-8000 to learn more.

  • Q. Referral Credit

    Currently enrolled students will receive a tuition credit for a referral to the Academy ($500 for a prek student referral, $1,000 for a day student K-12, and $2,500 for a boarding student referral). The credit will be awarded when a referred student 1) applies and is accepted to the Academy (2) identifies the referring family on the application itself and (3) enrolls at SMA. 

  • Q. Pay in Full Credit

    If you will be paying in full by the first invoice due date, you will qualify for a “Pay In Full Credit".

  • Q. La Cima Grant

    San Marcos Academy is offering a La Cima Good Neighbor Grant of $2,000 for new home residents of La Cima whose children enroll at SMA. The grant will be applied toward the tuition of each student during his or her first year as our way of welcoming your family to the neighborhood!

  • Q. Sibling Credit

    We offer a sibling credit for each child enrolled at the Academy.

  • Q. Active-Duty Military Discount

    San Marcos Academy offers a 25% tuition discount for each student enrolled whose parent or legal guardian is an active member of any branch of the military. Families who qualify for this discount will reconfirm their status annually with a pay stub or employment letter during the re-enrollment timeframe.

  • Q. Military Veteran or First Responder Discount

    San Marcos Academy offers a one-time $2,500 tuition discount upon enrollment for each student enrolled whose parent or legal guardian is a veteran of any branch of the military or first responder. First Responder is defined as “Badge holders in law enforcement, fire, medical, and emergency management.”
