Calling All Athletes for Summer Camps!
Two of our SMA coaches are offering summer camps. Coach Kelia Price is offering a 3-day basketball camp for
incoming 7th through 12th grade boys. Work out and learn new skills with Coach Price at the Academy gym from
12:30-2:30 p.m. June 4-6. Cost is just $40. Download the parental release form
here
and register today. Also, Coach Barrick Nealy is offering an All-Sports Summer Conditioning Camp for boys and
girls June 3 through July 19 (Mondays through Thursdays only) from 5:30-7 p.m. This camp will cost $75.

Football, Volleyball, Cheer Camps Coming Aug. 4
SMA football and volleyball players as well as cheerleaders will return to campus a week before school begins
to start workouts for the 2013-14 school year. Registration for these three campus will be on Sunday, Aug. 4,
from 1:30-4, and the camps begin that night and continue the following week. Click on the

to sign-up. New campers must first apply and be accepted as students through the admissions office; returning
campers must complete the re-enrollment process to sign up for camp.

New Entrance Coming Soon
Construction on the new Academy entrance and road through campus (which will be known as
“Academy Hills Drive”) is well underway and will be completed before the beginning
of the new school year. The road is being built in order to provide access to a new residential
development adjacent to our campus. The developers are covering all the costs of the construction,
and will also provide a new security gate for our entrance and a new golf driving range. While the
construction may cause some slight inconveniences to campus visitors, there will continue to be
full access to the Academy during the construction.
